Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer / IT Developer Engineer II to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable business applications, automation solutions, and backend systems. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements, develop efficient solutions, and support enterprise applications.
The candidate should possess strong expertise in Core Python, backend frameworks, automation, databases, and data processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and backend
- Develop automation solutions using Python scripts and workflow automation
- Work on data processing and analysis using Pandas and
- Build and maintain web applications and REST APIs using Django and/or
- Integrate applications with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database
- Work on data extraction, parsing, and processing using Regex, Python libraries, or ML-based techniques.
- Participate in application architecture reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, debug applications, and optimize system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and
- Support Agile/Scrum development methodologies and participate in sprint
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Core Python
- Hands-on experience with Pandas and
- Experience in Python automation and
- Strong knowledge of Django and/or
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend
- Strong database knowledge with SQL Server and/or
- Experience with Regex, text/data extraction, or ML-based data
- Familiarity with IDEs such as
- Knowledge of SDLC, OOP concepts, debugging, and performance
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP Automation or enterprise workflow
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, or Linux
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum
Experience Required
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Python Development and
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related
